"I'll never forget the moment I first saw her," recalled Bray, who attended Bowie High School in Maryland with the future "Live" and
"Today Show" star. "She was walking down the hallway and I thought: 'What a beauty!'...She was the cheerleader. I was on the wrestling team. We went to the prom together."

"My fondest memory of her," added Bray, "was her positive attitude. She was always upbeat, sparkling, happy. At that time, there was no other girl for me. She was a good singer. She sang with a group called Pennsylvania Next Right."

But, said Bray, "her interests were the arts and music. We never discussed abortion. I don't know what her views on the subject are. Our relationship ended when I went off to the Naval Academy."

The two, however, remained pen pals for a while. Kathie Lee went
on to fame and fortune, including making the best-seller list with a series of inspirational books. Bray's work with the Army of God keeps him linked to the FBI's list of terrorist organizations — especially as he keeps promoting his book "A Time To Kill" on the Army of God website.

“I have obviously laid out a case why it’s justifiable to defend the innocent," Bray's explained, "and in the course of doing so, you can do harm to the one who is killing someone else.” But the preacher has much kinder words for Kathie Lee. He said that "he doesn't watch much TV," but has "fond memories of her. I wish her all the best."
