Single ‘Mother’s Day’ For Julia Roberts

Julia Roberts showed up solo for the premiere of her new movie 'Mother's Day' — as The National ENQUIRER revealed that she's now a single mom! Sources told The ENQUIRER that her husband Danny Moder has been moved out of the Malibu, Calif., home he shared with the “Pretty Woman” star.

As The ENQUIRER exclusively reported in its March 14 issue, 48-year-old Julia has been shopping for a divorce lawyer and “is ready to throw in the towel” on the marriage. “She’s had it up to here!” said the informant.

Exclusive photos obtained by The ENQUIRER prove that, Danny, 47, now lives in a tiny ranch house directly across the street from Julia’s oceanfront mansion. His prized Vespa motorcycle is outside his new shack — as is the Prius automobile owned by Julia. He often uses the car to take twins Hazel and Finn, 11, and 8-year-old Henry to school.  A source added that Julia “barely spends any time with her husband anymore!"

The children also spend time with Danny (pictured) and a nanny when Julia needs “a breather” from them, a source dished. Now, with Danny moving out, it’s apparent the marriage is over — and the battle over Julia’s $225 million fortune is beginning!

Insiders said Julia became “fed up” with her husband of 13 years when he missed a string of important family events, including a Georgia memorial service for Julia’s mom, Betty Lou Bredemus — who died from cancer in February 2015 at age 80. “It was the ultimate insult, a real slap in the face,” a friend ratted. “I don’t see how any marriage could recover from such a slight.”

But sources said Danny has long had his own issues, and has been chafing under Julia’s “controlling ways.” He’s also grown tired of Julia spending more time with her ex- boyfriends than with him — including one who “goes to Mexico and Hawaii with them and all the parties,” claimed a source. “I know Danny and Julia butt heads over this.”

At the same time, cinematographer Danny prefers hanging out with his surfing pals to dealing with his “high maintenance” wife, the informant added. “It’s got to the stage where he’s at his happiest with his friends, surfing, and is quite happy not to be doing much in his career. It’s only Julia who cares.”

Meanwhile, Julia’s career has been slowed because of her demanding ways, the source said. “She’s not getting what she used to as people aren’t willing to tolerate her demands.” But the actress — who The ENQUIRER recently caught out at Disneyland without her husband — still wants the kids to be around their dad. She bought the new property for a whopping $6.8 million so Danny can stay in close proximity to his family.

“Because the three kids are still young, Julia wants Danny in their lives as much as can be,” a source explained. “So she bought him a house of his own directly across the street!”

Meanwhile, RadarOnline.com caught Julia buying a Malibu property that might become her new bachelorette pad! The site reported that she plunked down $6.84 million the pricey three-bedroom home (pictured) in the affluent beach city!
