Johnny Depp: Troubled Star’s Trump Assassination ‘Joke’

Johnny Depp has outraged Americans with an overseas joke about assassinating Donald Trump — just days after a psycho shooter had GOP politicians in his crosshairs!

The troubled star is being blasted for his recent remarks while attending England's annual Glastonbury Festival — referencing the shooting of Abraham Lincoln by asking the crowd how many years it's been since “an actor assassinated a president.” Depp then added: "It has been a while, and maybe it is time!”

The sick reference to actor John Wilkes Booth comes while Depp is already dealing with new scandals over a lawsuit against his old managers — with the TMG firm claiming Depp's a spendthrift, and adding that staffers told management that he had physically abused ex-wife Amber Heard!

The "joke" was especially ill-timed after psycho shooter James Hodgkinson's recent attack on GOP politicians. Depp didn't seem to care, though — telling the audience: “By the way, this is going to be in the press. It will be horrible. I like that you are all a part of it!”
