Joan Collins Blasted By Her Son In Shocking Tell-All

Joan Collins was a selfish icy mom who ignored her kids and dumped them!

That’s the bombshell dropped by her son, painter Alexander "Sacha" Newley, in his new memoir, "Unaccompanied Minor," which rips the lid off the 84-year-old showbiz siren’s boozing and ice-cold heart. “I longed for her affection [but got a] lack of love” in return he writes in the book, reviewed in advance by The National ENQUIRER.

At age six Alexander and his eight-year-old sister, Tara, lived with Joan after she divorced their entertainer dad, Anthony Newley, in 1971. She soon wed music producer Ron Kass — and moved the children from England to relaunch her career in Hollywood.

While she and Kass (right) were cash-strapped, Joan refused to “settle for a smaller house” or do without servants, her son says. “There was no point in living if she couldn’t live large.”

Joan, who starred in "Dynasty" along with Linda Evans and Heather Locklear from 1981 to 1989, scored a few bit parts on TV shows but had to get unemployment, says Alexander, who claims she frequently “woke up with hangovers.”

Alexander insists his only family life was weekends spent with his dad (shown here in earlier days with Joan) and step-mom, Cathy. Fed-up teen Tara fled to her father, telling Joan, “At least Cathy talks to me! You’re so busy putting on your makeup and rushing out to all your f***ing parties!”

Broke and boozing, Joan dumped Kass and fled back to London. Two months later, she arrived to pick up Alexander from school. But instead of going to his mom, Alex writes, “I turned on my heels and ran … to Cathy who was waiting in a car. My mother had abandoned me” so he “abandoned her back.”
