Shocking photos obtained by The ENQUIRER showed “The Nutty Professor”star wheelchair-bound and looking extremely pale while in Washington, D.C., before a scheduled comedy show. And while Jerry has cut back on his live appearances, he celebrated his 90th birthday as "The Trust" — his new film with Nicolas Cage — debuted at the SXSW Film Festival in Austin, Tex.!

Jerry's still engaged with the world, too, and praised Donald Trump's presidential campaign last year. "I think he’s giving it a lot more legs than it would have had without him," said Jerry. "I think that he’s good for the Republicans. But I don’t know too much more about what he would do. He’s got a lot of balls, that’s for sure. With 10 billion in the bank, I would have that, too!"

Jerry Lewis turns 90
While Jerry is proud of his six sons and daughter, insiders told The ENQUIRER that he desperately misses his beloved son Joseph. “He was rocked to the core when Joseph, who battled drugs, took his life in 2009 at age 45. Not a day goes by when Jerry doesn’t think of him,” the insider divulged.

A shattered Jerry said: “To this day, I don’t understand [Joseph's death] because it’s unfair … I beat myself a thousand times.” Meanwhile, Jerry has battled prostate cancer and suffered two heart attacks. He has type 1 diabetes and took the steroid prednisone for pulmonary fibrosis, a chronic lung disease.
