38-year-old Summer separated from Oscar-winning hubby Casey in November 2015, according to court papers served last month. Jen and Ben announced their split just several months earlier in June. Now the ex-wives are helping each other heal their heartbreak and move on.“They’ve been sending one another supportive texts and encouraging each other to hang in there,” an insider blabs to The ENQUIRER. “They now realize Ben and Casey are two of a kind — unreliable.”

Summer booted Casey after two women filed sexual harassment suits against him for his behavior on "I’m Still Here," his fake documentary about Summer’s actor brother, Joaquin Phoenix. “The lawsuits caused serious trust issues for Summer,” noted the insider. She’s asking for joint custody of their sons Indiana, 13, and Atticus, 9, and alimony. Meanwhile Jen, mom of Ben’s kids Violet, 11; Seraphina, 8; and Sam, 5, stayed with the Batman hunk through his gambling and drinking issues.

But a "Nannygate" scandal linking him to a babysitter ultimately crashed the marriage. Sadly, Ben appears to be back on booze. He was spotted in Maine buying two bottles of rosé and a bottle of "Skinnygirl" margaritas with his new girlfriend, Lindsay Shookus. The painful breakups have left Jen and Summer vowing “to never date an actor again,” said the source. “They pledge to only date normal guys, like social workers or schoolteachers, from now on!”
