Subway issued a statement insisting that Moody — who ran the Subway Franchisee Advertising Fund Trust — had never alerted management of any concerns. The executive also insisted in Aug. 2015 that he had never known of Fogle's sexual obsessions. Moody said in his own statement that, “like any decent human being,” he was “repulsed” by Fogle's actions.
