Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes are finally out as a couple — but Tom Cruise's ex put on the pressure to make their public debut right on schedule!

As The National ENQUIRER first revealed in Oct. 2013, Jamie and Katie began a serious relationship just a year after her 2012 split from Tom — but the famously controlling superstar insisted on a divorce decree that she couldn't publicly date until 2017!

Now insiders told The ENQUIRER that, after years of sneaking around, Katie was determined that Jamie make a public debut with her once the divorce condition expired on Aug. 20.

“She’s demanding Jamie be a stand-up guy and go public with their romance,” a close source told The ENQUIRER at the start of August — with Katie’s fit to be tied after Jamie had boasted on a chat show about his skills at flirting with other gals!
