Hulk Hogan And Attorneys Press Conference
Disgraced wrestler Hulk Hogan testified under oath yesterday in his $100 million lawsuit against Gawker Media — who posted online excerpts from the secret sex tape originally exposed by The National ENQUIRER and RadarOnline.com in a joint investigation. The WWE star – whose real name is Terry Bollea – had his career come to a sudden end after the pro wrestling icon was caught unleashing a bigoted attack littered with the N-word.

The star of the WWE directed his racist rant at his daughter Brooke, after he accused her of sleeping with a black man. He was talking to Heather Clem — the wife of his best friend, popular shock jock Bubba "The Love Sponge" Clem! Amazingly, Hulk didn't know that a camera was running. He had his suspicions, though, which is just part of the many amazing revelations included in Day One of the Sex Tape Trial!

Hulk took to the stand to insist that he never really wanted to have sex with Heather. “I remember when I was approached, it was a phone call …” Hulk recalled on the stand. “Bubba and Heather were together in the car,” and told him Heather wanted to see his penis. The couple, who had an open marriage continued to pressure Hulk, he said. “It got to the point where I said, ‘Look man, knock it off. It’s not funny.’"

The wrestling legend finally succumbed to Heather's charms — but he explained that it was the fault of the wrestler's estranged wife! “It was a situation where a lot of things were happening at the same time,” Hogan, 62, said. “I’d tried unsuccessfully to get my wife [Linda] to come back … She verbally, over and over, would say, ‘Eff you! I’m not coming back! You’re too old, you’re too slow, you don’t turn me on, I’m going to find somebody younger'...It was, like, a low point in my life."

Hulk insisted that he had no idea he was making a sex tape — but he did have a feeling that Bubba was planning to record one on the sly! “My gut was telling me that this was off, this was wrong,” Hogan claimed. “And from the feeling I had, I said, ‘Bubba you’re not filming this are you?’ He just lashed into me: ‘What the hell is wrong with you? I’m your best friend. I would never do that to you!’ It kind of just froze me in my track.”

Hulk proved that he has feelings, too — as the wrestler talked about the deep sense of betrayal he had in the aftermath of learning the Clems had discreetly recorded the sex act. "[Their home] was the only place that I actually felt safe” he explained. “Those people made me fee like they loved me. And as weird as it felt, and as crazy as it sounds, at that time, it was the only thing that I had. It didn’t even make sense, but it just happened.”

"Hogan Knows Best" was also dragged through the mud during court testimony, with Hulk explaining that he only agreed to do the reality show in a bid to save his marriage. His then-wife Linda, Hulk said, had her sights set on a Hollywood career. “I thought maybe [the show] would help [our marriage],” he confessed. “In my heart, I thought it would really help.”

Hulk revealed that instead of capturing his life, "Hogan Knows Best" was really a carefully-staged con of a show.
“I found out very quickly that reality TV is not real TV,” he said on the stand in a Florida courtroom. “It’s real-like.” Hulk explained how producers pulled the wool over viewers’ eyes and how the show really came together behind the scenes. “They come up for a theme for the show,” Hulk said. “For example, the first week was, ‘Hulk Hogan takes his dog to a psychiatrist.’ The next week, it’s ‘Hulk Hogan and his family decide to go ride horses in Montana.'”
