Hollywood is reeling as former child actor
Elijah Wood has spoken out about the sexual predators chasing after children in show biz! The former child actor — who costarred with troubled
Macaulay Culkin in 1993's "The Good Son" (pictured) — is best known for his lead role in the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy. Now the 35-year-old actor is putting his career on the line by talking about the kind of pedophile passions that have been exposed in
The National ENQUIRER!
“Clearly something major was going on in Hollywood," said Elijah, who credits his mother for protecting him from being “preyed upon” by
perverts in the film biz. "It was all organized. There are a lot of vipers in this industry, people who only have their own interests in mind. There is darkness in the underbelly. What bums me about these situations is that the victims can’t speak as loudly as the people in power. That’s the tragedy of attempting to reveal what is happening to innocent people: they can be squashed, but their lives have been irreparably damaged.”

Elijah's solemn words are painful reminders of the fate of doomed child star
Corey Haim (pictured) — who The ENQUIRER revealed to be the tragic victim of Hollywood predators in a bombshell exclusive report! Haim –
dead in March 2010 at the age of 38 after a battle with drug addiction – made his explosive molestation charges public on the reality show “The Two Coreys.”

He confessed to co-star
Corey Feldman that he began to self-mutilate after being sexually assaulted by a man while filming the coming-of-age drama “Lucas” in 1985. “[I was] raped, so to speak, when I was about 14-and-a-half years old,” Haim said. The troubled star, however, originally declined to publicly identify the creep who assaulted him.

But before he died, Haim (seen here in "Lucas") named his attacker to two sources who have spoken exclusively to The ENQUIRER. “Corey had bottled everything up, but he finally told me what happened when he was in his mid-20s,” revealed one source — a longtime confidant of the late star of the cult classic “The Lost Boys.”
“The man was the first of two who molested him," the insider said. "These men chewed him up and spat him out. Friends said Corey should sue them. But Corey told me, ‘No one would ever believe me! I’m a big star, but —– [the first molester] is bigger.' Corey was afraid that if he named him, Hollywood would ostracize him!”
Corey Feldman — seen here (far right) with his costars in 1986's "Stand By Me" — later spoke out about his own experience with sexual predators: “The number one problem in Hollywood was, and is, and always will be, pedophilia. I was surrounded by [pedophiles] when I was 14 years old. Didn't even know it. It wasn't until I was old enough to realize what they were and what they wanted … till I went, 'Oh, my God. They were everywhere!'"
The ENQUIRER investigation dug up more of Hollywood's sickest predators — including film composer Fernando Rivas, who created music for “Sesame Street” and Disney productions. Rivas also created and sent child pornography over the Internet, which grim-faced prosecutors said included a horrifying video of a naked and restrained 4-year-old girl.

Jason James Murphy — a casting agent working with young actors in films such as "School of Rock," "Cheaper By the Dozen," and the 2005 remake of "The Bad News Bears" — was also a registered sex offender who had once kidnapped and molested an 8-year-old boy.

The ENQUIRER recently revealed how "Jurassic Park" actor Cameron Thor was
sentenced to six years in the slammer for using his trade as an acting coach to cultivate sexual favors from a 13-year-old girl!
Powerhouse manager
Bob Villard mentored child actors
Tobey Maguire and
Leonardo DiCaprio. He pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor after thousands of photos of boys in skimpy bathing suits were found at his home. Villard finally went to prison following another no contest plea in 2005 to committing a lewd act on a 13-year-old boy who sought him out as an acting coach.

There's also the disturbing case of actor Brian Peck — seen here in his mugshot after admitting in 2004 to molesting a child protégé. Despite that, the registered sex offender has continued to work in Hollywood. That includes portraying a sex education teacher in 2009’s “Queerentine!” Brian was even allowed to work as a dialogue coach on the 2010 kiddie movie “Jack and the Beanstalk.”
Peck also raised eyebrows when he showed up to do a DVD commentary on the first "X-Men" movie, despite only having a small walk-on role. The film was directed by
Bryan Singer, who was later embroiled in his own underage-sex scandal after accusations that were later dropped in court. What’s more, The ENQUIRER has learned that Peck — seen here at a film convention in 2012 — was once allegedly hired by the Tinseltown kingpin at the center of the Haim sex scandal!

Anne Henry, who runs the non-profit BizParentz — which assists the families of child actors — told The ENQUIRER about how the film industry is in desperate need of legal reforms. Anne cited the example of a recently enacted California statute that would prevent registered sex offenders like Brian Peck and Cameron Thor from coaching a child actor. But, she warned, a convicted pedophile “could still work on set as an actor or crew member!”
