Henry Cavill has been forced to apologize after the “Superman” star came off as super-arrogant in an embarrassing interview! The actor put himself in an impossible position while promoting his role alongside Tom Cruise in “Mission: Impossible — Fallout,” complaining that the brave women of Hollywood’s #MeToo movement had made it impossible for him to court ladies. Cavill complained: “It’s like: ‘Well, I don’t want to go up and talk to her, because I’m going to be called a rapist or something.’” Insiders, however, have told The National ENQUIRER that the insensitive remark is typical behavior from the Man of Steel!

At least Cavill quickly released a statement about the controversial comments, saying that he “wanted to apologize for any confusion and misunderstanding that this may have created.” The star added: “Insensitivity was absolutely not my intention...I would just like to clarify and confirm to all that I have always and will continue to hold women in the highest of regard, no matter the type of relationship, whether it be friendship, professional, or a significant other.”
