battering fiancé Chris Heisser at her posh home in Thousand Oaks, Calif., on Feb. 25.

When police responded to Chris’ call for help, Heather turned her rage on them. The booze-fueled meltdown ended with the actress jailed for domestic violence and assault. Chris was later busted for DUI.

train-wreck Heather — who also did rehab stints in
2008 and
2010 and was admitted to a psych ward in
2012 — and Chris seem to be back on track. The
former “Dynasty” star was spotted knocking back nonalcoholic mocktails with Chris at a Mexican restaurant in Westlake Village, Calif., on May 5.

“She seemed happy, and more comfortable with herself than she did before,” tattled the spy. The pair also had a movie date night on May 4 in Los Angeles. “They’re finally going out more,” dished another source. “In the past, they would hole up in the house, so this could be a great new start for them.”

Heather told police her brawl with Chris started after he “lied to her” and she threw a can of Red Bull at him. The former pinup also claimed Chris tried to “choke” her. “At one point [Locklear] screamed, ‘[Heisser] tried to kill me. He’s a felon! Let me the f--k go,’ ”
according to a search warrant.

Heather was a no-show for a court hearing on April 12, but her attorneys entered not guilty pleas on her behalf. She’s now been ordered by the court to appear for a pretrial conference on June 7.
