Céline Dion leads her family into the Notre-Dame Basilica in Montreal this afternoon for the funeral of her husband, René Angélil, who passed away on Jan. 14, just days shy of his 74th birthday. The basilica is the same one in which they married in 1994.

The doors opened to mourners at 2 p.m. as fans behind barricades lined nearby streets in the chilly 27-degree weather.

Céline is holding hands with her 5-year-old twin sons, Eddy and Nelson. Another son, René-Charles, 14, can be seen beside Celine’s widowed mother, Thérèse Dion, 89.

Inside the basilica, lilies of the valley were at the ends of every pew. Every seat had a program, written mostly in French, that explained Rene chose all of the Celine songs that were played, including “Trois Heures 20,” “L'Amour Existe Encore” and “All the Way.”
