The ENQUIRER had the scoop when Hayden checked into a treatment facility to fight a desperate battle with postpartum depression. Hayden and her longtime fiancé — heavyweight boxer Wladimir Klitschko — celebrated the birth of their daughter Kaya in December of 2014. “Women need to know they’re not alone, and postpartum depression does heal,” the blonde beauty said, adding that her struggle to regain an emotional balance has been ”really painful,” “really scary,” and requires “a lot of support.”

Hayden, whose character on “Nashville” also suffered from postpartum depression, is being hailed for opening up about her real-life struggle. “In the past, women, particularly in Hollywood, could never admit to battling any kind of depression,” said an industry insider. Fortunately, The ENQUIRER was also there to report when a beaming Hayden made her first public appearance since beginning her treatment. Hayden still had reason to smile when she traveled to Germany in November, even though she only traveled there to see Wladimir lose a heavyweight title bout to the aptly-named Tyson Fury. At the time, The ENQUIRER reported that Hayden’s fans were excited to see the “Nashville” star looking ready to get back in the spotlight! Few of them were expecting a return like this, though!
