Harrison Ford: Off He Goes Into The Wild Blue Yonder!
“Star Wars” star and hotshot pilot Harrison Ford was spotted loading his private jet in Santa Monica, Calif., yesterday as he prepared to leave town for the weekend. Despite breaking some bones when he crashed a small plane on a golf course back in March of last year, the 73-year-old action star is not afraid to keep ‘em flying.

Harrison also returned to flying the beloved space freighter “Millennium Falcon” on movie screens around the world in last year’s most-anticipated film, the blockbuster “Star Wars: Episode VII — The Force Awakens”! For reprising his role as roguish Han Solo, the veteran of the three original “Star Wars” installments reportedly banked a pile of credits that would make any space pirate drool: somewhere between $10 million and $20 million!

Harrison’s Han haul was reportedly some 50 times bigger than the paychecks cut for his newbie costars — but then again, Harrison is one of the brightest stars in Hollywood, and officially the highest-grossing actor of all time, so his reward should be, in the words of Luke Skywalker, "more than you can imagine!"

Thanks to the out-of-this-world box office performance of “The Force Awakens,” Harrison recaptured the throne as the movies’ top-grosser from Samuel L. Jackson — who owes a lot of success to the “Star Wars” prequel trilogy. Harrison’s 41 films have grossed $4.699 billion (so far) at the North American box office, according to Box Office Mojo. Compare that to Samuel’s 68 movies, which have raked in “only” $4.626 billion (and counting).
