Golden Globes 2016 Red Carpet
The 2016 Golden Globes are happening at the Beverly Hilton, and staffers are looking out for both terrorists and rain — not necessarily in that order! There’s been a lot of debate earlier today about whether or not to bring out the tents as rumors of bad weather threatened the glamorous awards ceremony that feels more like a party. Celebs also enjoy putting on a fashion show for the Hollywood Foreign Press Association as they host the annual 73rd Annual Golden Globes — which a lot of people still think are a great way of predicting Oscar winners later this year. We’re not sure about that, but here’s Dallas Bryce Howard (above), Jaimie Alexander, Jennifer Lopez, and more showing off styles they sure won’t be repeating at the Academy Awards...
There wasn’t a tattoo in sight — and nowhere to hide one — as Jaimie Alexander showed up from the hit television series “Blindspot,” where her character’s plentiful tattoos are clues to multiple mysteries!
Sophia Bush embraced a basic black dress to show off how glamorous she can look when off the set of her hit series “Chicago P.D.!”
He may enjoy laughing at his own fame nowadays, but David Hasselhoff was seriously old-school glamour as he showed up looking more like Cary Grant.
57-year-old Jamie Lee Curtis also took over her late mom’s mantle of old Hollywood glamour, with the daughter of Janet Leigh also up for a Golden Globe for her role on MTV’s “Scream Queens.”
She could’ve been covering the red carpet for E!, but television personality (and former pro wrestler) Maria Menounos showed off how she fits right in on the other side of the camera!
Transsexual beauty Laverne Cox — of the women's prison drama "Orange is the New Black" — looked bewitching in a flowing white gown!
That's the back of Jason Statham's head, but we think more photographers were interested in the bewitching back view of his model girlfriend Rosie Huntington-Whiteley — who showed up in the Globes-nominated "Mad Max: Fury Road" last year.
America Ferrera stood out in bold yellow on the red carpet.
Her new show "Telenovela" features Eva Longoria in plenty of plunging necklines. But for the Golden Globes, Eva made the offbeat choice of choosing a plunging... um, skirtline — from the ground up!
Kisten Dunst stunned plenty of fans as the former "Spider-Man" starlet — now nominated for the FX series "Fargo" — showed off plenty of skin in a daring dress!
In contrast to Kirsten, veteran star Bernadette Peters showed off plenty of style while wrapping her 67-year-old figure in some classic Hollywood style!
Heidi Klum may be ready to retire at the age of 42, but the veteran supermodel showed that she's still ready to show off a plunging neckline on the red carpet!
And even though Jennifer Lopez is out to promote her show "Shades of Blue" — which premiered to huge ratings — the 46-year-old diva followed America Ferrera's lead in going with yellow. She went with something a little more stylish, though, and managed to steal the spotlight while being unusually modest!
Melissa McCarthy wow'd the crowd as she continued to be The Amazing Shrinking Movie Star — as the actress keeps slimming down while getting ready to push the all-female "Ghostbusters" reboot!
