Freddie Mercury carried on a passionate secret affair with a transsexual pop star! Singer Lanah P has claimed the Queen frontman spotted her on a British comedy show in 1984 — and they steamed up the sheets before he died of AIDS. “Freddie saw me on TV and said to one of his friends, ‘I saw this camp creature on television and I’d love to meet them!’ ” revealed Lanah, who’s also known as Alan Pillay. Despite The National ENQUIRER has learned that, despite Freddie’s favorable first impression, the odd couple got off to a slow start. “At first, he didn’t set my knickers on fire. So Lanah was stunned by Freddie’s hunger for her! “I was really quite surprised I was his type,” she said. “His relationships before then were all gay men with handlebar mustaches.” But she believes she helped Freddie become more comfortable in his skin. “I helped him with self-discovery,” said Lanah.
