The National ENQUIRER after she finally put showbiz behind her — and angered executives by refusing to participate in a "Happy Days" reunion in 1991. For 11 years, from the ages of 12 to 23, the actress charmed millions with her portrayal of sweet and innocent Joanie. "And the last nine of those years," revealed Erin,

"I might have been a star," said Erin, "but I was still a kid. And what I needed most was what most kids need most — love and affection." The disgusted star added: ""When 'Happy Days' was over, it was like getting out of prison!" But Hollywood wasn't happy when Erin backed up her claims by refusing a comeback.

But then Erin took an extra step in wrecking her career by accusing costar Henry Winkler of sexually harassing her as a teen! An insider told The ENQUIRER four years later: "When Erin made those comments four years ago, her career was in the toilet and she was under a lot of stress. She told me recently, 'I don't know what I was thinking.'"
