Elizabeth Taylor broke the law in the fight against AIDS!

Supermodel Kathy Ireland has spoken up about the screen legend’s brave fight against the killer disease to commemorate World AIDS Day.

She told “Entertainment Tonight” that Elizabeth — who was one of the first Hollywood stars to support victims of the disease — did more than just host fancy parties for her Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation.

Instead, the glamorous movie star risked her own freedom by dealing illegal drugs!

“It was a safe house,” Kathy said, revealing that Liz used her opulent Hollywood mansion to provide AIDS sufferers with experimental drugs!

“A lot of the work that she did,” said Kathy, “it was illegal, but she was saving lives!

“Her business associates pleaded with her, ‘Leave this thing alone.’ She received death threats.

“Friends hung up on her when she asked for help, but something that I love about Elizabeth is her courage.”

The National ENQUIRER first reported how Elizabeth bravely stood by her secretly-gay “Giant” costar Rock Hudson as he began to suffer from fatal AIDS-related illnesses in 1985.

Elizabeth passed away on March 23, 2011.

Since her death, the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation has continued to give tens of millions of dollars to organizations in 30 countries.
