Border agents in Tijuana were horrified to find a couple trying to sneak a tiny corpse across the border! Johnny Lewis Hartley and Mercy Mary Becerra had the body of a 2-year-old girl in a duffel bag while trying to cross into Mexico at a pedestrian walkway. Hartley had been pulled aside by the border agents, and the Mexico border agents discovered the couple's horrible secret when they put the bag through an X-ray machine!

Becerra (aka Mercedez Hartley) attempted to flee the scene and was arrested. Johnny was also detained, and the two were transferred to U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers. Homicide detectives from the San Diego Police Department then took them in for questioning. According to her Facebook profile, Becerra is the mother of nine children.
