Former teen model Brittney Lewis is the latest woman to accuse the legendary musician of sexual assault — alleging to TheWrap.com that
the womanizing magician flew her off to California before drugging and raping her when she was only 17 years old. “I remember my clothes being taken off,” said Britnney, with her grandmother backing up her claims of Copperfield flying her out from Utah in Sept. 1988.

Brittney said that Copperfield later drugged her drink at a hotel before she blacked out — and she woke to him still in her hotel room. “He wanted to me know that nothing happened because I was underage,” she recalled. “He said: ‘I didn’t enter you.’” And while Copperfield didn't respond to Britnney's specific claims, he published a denial about other sexual assaults on social media just hours before Brittney went public!

While praising the #MeToo movement spawned by a series of reports
about sick showbiz sexual harassment, Copperfield complained that he had "lived with years of news reports of...being accused of fabricated heinous acts" that had his "life turned upside down." One of Copperfield's accusers even ended up in jail — but others back Brittney's story!

Brittney herself claims she went to police when Lacey Carroll accused Copperfield of sexual assault in 2007. The former runner-up in the Miss Washington USA pageant said the magician had lured her to his private island in the Bahamas with a job offer. That case quickly fell apart, however, after Lacey was arrested for making false sexual assault allegations against another man.

But the case still had other women coming out against Copperfield — including Las Vegas escape artist Shedini, who said he had lured her to a hotel room with a job offer of being an onstage assistant. "David Copperfield is an evil predator," she said, adding: "I wonder how many other times he's pulled this with pretty young women?"

In 2009, Copperfield's former chauffeur John St. John also came forward to say that his boss had assaulted a woman in the backseat of a limousine during a 1996 trip to Canada. "Soon after I drove off, I realized something was wrong," recalled St. John — who later filed a report with the FBI, and passed a lie detector test on his shocking claims.

"They were struggling, and I heard raised voices," said St. John. "I could hear the girl saying, 'No! Get off me!' and 'Stop it!' Just before I did something about it, David called me on the car's intercom saying, 'Take me back!'. When I got back with them to the National Arts Centre, David stormed out of the car and shouted to me, 'Take the bitch home!'"

Copperfield's latest denial hasn't won over many fans — with some complaining that the statement uses "sleight of hand" to suggest that Brittney had already had her claims debunked. The magician, meanwhile, asked: "Please, for everyone's sake, don't rush to judgment."
