Heavenly Body! Daisy Ridley Shines In Sheer Swimsuit
She may be the brightest new star in Hollywood thanks to “Star Wars: Episode VII — The Force Awakens,” but Daisy Ridley proves you’re never too big to hang out with mom! Louise Fawkner-Corbett joined her daughter for some sun ’n fun in Miami Beach for the new year’s holiday. In addition to protecting her eyes with stylish retro sunglasses, the porcelain-skinned beauty was also careful to apply plenty of sunscreen.

Florida probably felt like a galaxy far, far away from Daisy’s native Westminster, London — and all that sand certainly must have reminded the actress of her character’s dusty desert planet, Jakku. Daisy, 23, wasn’t acting shy around her mother, opting to wear a sexy black one-piece with sheer panels that was cut high at the hips!

The bathing suit also revealed that Daisy has a tattoo on her right hip of a triangle bisected toward the top by a straight line. The geometric design often symbolizes the element air in the pseudoscience of alchemy, but Daisy has never talked about the ink, so it’s unclear what it means to her.

Daisy actually doesn’t need any alchemical symbols, because the starlet already knows how to make gold: land the central role in a “Star Wars” film! The latest installment of the space opera closed out the holiday box office season with an out-of-this-world $1.51 billion worldwide! And it’s still going strong in theaters all around the planet!

“Episode VII” recently passed “The Avengers” to become the highest-grossing film for Walt Disney Studios and is on a track to pass “Avatar” as the biggest box-office earner in history. And her performance helped Daisy land on “Forbes” magazine’s prestigious “30 Under 30” list in entertainment (along with costar John Boyega, who played Finn).
The red-hot Daisy will only be heard in her next film — she’s lending her voice to the lead character in the dubbed North American release of the Japanese Studio Ghibli animated film “Only Yesterday,” which goes into wide release in February. Oh, and she will be reprising her breakout role as Rey in “Star Wars: Episode VIII,” which is due in 2017!
