The former sex symbol (seen here in May 2016) says that turning 70 years old inspired her to call quits on her fabulous career. The "Moonstruck" Oscar-winner said she’s hanging up her vocal cords after her series of residencies ends in May 2017. “I didn’t want to be finished,” she sighed. “I didn’t want to be through with singing, and I knew this would probably be the last time.”

Cher revealed that she decided to take on the gig before growing older robbed her of her mobility and voice. “The older you are, the harder it is,” she explained. “My voice is still really good. I’m still … active, running around. I can still fit in my costumes. So I thought that this is probably — it’s now or never!”
