A confidential Scientology report addressed to Hubbard’s wife on June 22, 1970 — obtained exclusively by The National ENQUIRER — revealed that the church enlisted Manson during his ten-year stint at the McNeil Island penitentiary in Washington state.

While there, Manson shared a cell with high-level Scientologist Lafeyette Raimer, who put the bug-eyed cult leader through 150 hours of “auditing” — intense sessions in which participants divulge their darkest secrets as part of the church indoctrination!

Amazingly, the wacky Scientology tactics proved too crazy for even deranged maniac Manson! “Manson got super-energetic and flipped out when he’d been audited, and would talk about nothing but Scientology,” the report said. “After a while, Manson was screaming to get away from his auditor.”

Prison officials eventually put the kibosh on the church’s practices, but not before Manson used the “hypnotism and black magic” to control his flock of murderous creeps! Mason, who died Nov. 19 at age 83, went on to mastermind the 1969 killing spree that left seven dead, including actress Sharon Tate.

“He used Scientology and other forms of religion to gain control over people and get his followers to do what he wanted,” investigator Mark G. Hewitt, who published “Charles Manson Behind Bars,” told The ENQUIRER.
