Celine was overwhelmed as her son eldest son René-Charles, 15, came on stage unexpectedly to present her with the award.

Sadly, the touching scene wasn't the first time that Céline had broken down onstage in recent months. The National ENQUIRER was there in February when she first returned to the stage of her Las Vegas residency — and the mourning songstress broke down in tears during her rendition of Eric Carmen's "All By Myself."

Céline recovered on the Billboard Music Awards stage, saying: "Thank you very much.This is such a tremendous honor. Music has been my passion since before I can almost remember." Céline also said that she believed her late husband will "continue to watch over me from up above."
