American Idol” champ, detected “an extensive amount of filler” in Carrie’s cheeks, under her eyes and in her lips. “This was probably done to mask any damage that may have been caused by the accident,” he said.

“In addition to breaking my wrist, I somehow managed to injure my face as well. I’ll spare you the gruesome details, but when I came out of surgery the night of my fall, the doctor told Mike he had put between 40 and 50 stitches in,” she shared on social media.

“As part of the reconstructive surgery, she may have had a lifting procedure on both sides to assist in minimizing any deformity,” said New York–based surgeon Dr. Adam Schaffner, who has not treated Carrie.
