The nursing facility where ailing Betty lived for nearly a decade — and spent her final agonizing days — had been previously given a one-star (out of five) rating for quality!

In a 23-page Medicare report, inspectors cited environmental deficiencies that were deemed an “immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety.” Medicare authorities rated the residence as “much below average,” and a December 2011 report also highlighted the need to “make sure the nursing home area is free of dangers that cause accidents.”

Despite the “Allied” star’s reaction to Betty’s tragic end, her obituary listed “grandchildren Brad and Angie Pitt” among the surviving relatives — offering the biggest indication yet that the couple, who split in September 2016, might reconcile!
