But even after being told she was dying — and being given the opportunity to fly from L.A. to Shawnee, Okla., to say goodbye — callous Brad refused to show! “The family begged him to come home so she could see him one last time,” an insider snitched to The National ENQUIRER.

“But he said he wasn’t coming and probably wouldn’t be at the funeral either!” Betty’s obituary read she “went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 14, 2017, with her family by her side.” But not all of them. Brad — whose dad, William Pitt (left), is Betty’s son — was nowhere to be seen!

Shawnee-born Brad’s last known visit to his elderly grandmother was in 2008, when he made an appearance with now-estranged wife Angelina Jolie. The nursing facility where ailing Betty lived for nearly a decade — and spent her final agonizing days — had been previously given a one-star (out of five) rating for quality!

In a 23-page Medicare report, inspectors cited environmental deficiencies that were deemed an “immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety.” Medicare authorities rated the residence as “much below average,” and a December 2011 report also highlighted the need to “make sure the nursing home area is free of dangers that cause accidents.”

Despite the “Allied” star’s reaction to Betty’s tragic end, her obituary listed “grandchildren Brad and Angie Pitt” among the surviving relatives — offering the biggest indication yet that the couple, who split in September 2016, might reconcile!

“Brad’s family is clearly holding out for them getting back together,” dished the insider. “As far as they’re concerned, it’s not over until the divorce is finalized.”
