Bob Dylan likes to keep love within the family, claims Pamala Donegan — who says she was engaged to the folk-rock legend until he left her for her own sister!

“Bob asked me to marry him in 1993 — before he ever met my sister, Darlene,” a still-heartbroken Pamala confessed to
The National ENQUIRER. “Darlene hijacked the love of my life, blew through millions of dollars of Bob’s money and turned her back on her family!”
In an ironic twist, Pamala first met the “
Blowin’ in the Wind” singer through another sister,
Helena Springs — a vocalist who also had a fling with Bob! “I met Bob at Helena’s birthday party in 1979,” Pamala spilled to The ENQUIRER. “She was singing backup with Bob on the Saved tour, and he was quite taken with me.”

Pamala claimed Bob pursued her with flowers and pricey gifts, and even showed up to watch her perform in a play in Los Angeles. “After that we were together, on and off, for more than a decade,” Pamala recalls. The “Hurricane” legend blew Pamala away with a wedding proposal in 1993 and flew her to Paris to join him.
But she caught him with a French girl and went back home. That’s when younger sister Darlene Springs stepped in. “Darlene offered to speak to Bob for me. She said, ‘You two belong together,’” Pamala recalled. When Darlene returned, she handed Pamala a $100 bill, calling it a “trick tip,” Pamala said.

“That’s what a call girl does when somebody passes a john to her,” Pamala explained. “I was devastated!” A close friend of both sisters added: “It was ruthless! No one could believe Darlene would do something like that to her own sister!”

But Darlene betrayed
the Nobel laureate, as well. After the two secretly wed in 2012, Darlene reportedly blew a chunk of Bob’s whopping $180 million fortune on clothes, first-class trips to New York City, five-star hotels and top restaurants. “She bought homes, expensive clothes, went on trips. She was a black-belt shopper,” the source tattled.

Even more shocking, Darlene’s late nephew, James Donegan, claimed she used Bob’s money to fund her depraved existence! James told The ENQUIRER: “I scored drugs and women to provide her pleasure.” An L.A. drug dealer identified only as “Mack” claimed James introduced him to Darlene who regularly bought drugs from him.
