Neither did we… The TV legend is about to turn 97 years old, and National Enquirer fans are curious to know the status of the oldie’s health considering she hasn’t been on social media since August 2018 — and that was just to promote the PBS special about her notable life. She was spotted at the 2018 Emmys in September, but that’s the last we’ve seen of her.

Our sources tell us that she's hooked on vodka — and frequents Pacific Dining Star in Santa Monica. "Betty has been coming in here for years!” an insider said to Enquirer in January 2019. “She sits in a corner booth with her friends,” the source reported, revealing Betty loves to swill martinis. “Betty loves her Grey Goose!” the spy added, noting the star sometimes appears as if she’s overindulged on the top-shelf vodka. “They’ve had to help her walk out because she’s had a little too much enjoyment!

But she's getting help. “Betty’s telling her pals she’s got nursing care round the clock to monitor her and that’s a relief,” another source told The Globe last year. “Her ticker could give out at any minute. It’s just a matter of time."

Death doesn't phase the
Golden Girls star though. “But she’s not in any anguish about her approaching death. She welcomes it," the insider dished. “Betty’s looking forward to being reunited with her beloved, late husband, Allen Ludden, in heaven!”

And when Betty goes, she doesn't want anyone to
mourn her death. “Betty is living life to the fullest, but she knows her time is running out,” a source told
National Examiner in 2018. “She wants her funeral to reflect the way she lived. She doesn’t want it to be sad. She wants it to be a joyful, playful celebration."
