Asia Argento is denying that she sexually assaulted actor Jimmy Bennett when he was legally underage in California — but her defense also throws her dead boyfriend Anthony Bourdain under the bus! Her shocking confession leaves a tragic legacy for the troubled celebrity chef who hanged himself in France on June 8, 2018. As earlier reported by The National ENQUIRER, insiders were already furious over how the shocking accusations made against Asia had tainted planned tributes to Anthony. Now the bizarre actress and director says Anthony helped in a cover-up, even as he praised Asia for leading the #MeToo movement against Hollywood’s sexual predators, with the actress claiming she was raped by powerful producer Harvey Weinstein!

Asia was accused of hypocrisy after the New York Times reported that she's paid Bennet a total of $380,000 to cover up his claims that she had seduced him when he was just 17 years old. Asia has now contacted the Times, saying: "I strongly deny and oppose the contents of the New York Times article...I have never had any sexual relationship with Bennett." Then, however, she confirms Anthony's participation in paying for the coverup!

"Bennett knew my boyfriend,
Anthony Bourdain, was a man of great perceived wealth and had his own reputation as a respected public figure to protect," Asia continued, adding: "Anthony insisted the matter be handled privately, and this was also what Bennett wanted. Anthony was afraid of the possible negative publicity that such person, whom he considered dangerous, could have brought upon us."

Some insiders, however, are only more angry about Asia's denial. "She gets to deny seducing this actor that she'd known since he was seven years old," said one insider working on a posthumous Bourdain project. "Anthony, meanwhile, is left looking like a total hypocrite. The poor guy can't defend himself, and now this has to be part of his story!"
