Anne Buyden turned 100 on Tuesday, April 23, and the big birthday didn’t stop her from going out and about to celebrate the milestone.
On Wednesday, April 24, Kirk Douglas’ wife was seen being pushed around in a wheelchair while wearing a bright blue sweater and navy blue pants. However, she doesn’t exactly look good at a century old!

Similarly, her husband, Spartacus actor Kirk, is not doing well. The star turned 102 in December, and now, he’s, unfortunately, battling memory loss in his old age!

“We say goodnight and goodbye, but ten minutes later he calls and says, ‘How are you?’ I say, ‘Dad, we have already spoken!’” his son, Michael Douglas, revealed in December 2018, The National ENQUIRER reported.

It’s a miracle Kirk is still alive considering the plethora of health issues he’s faced over the years.

On top of having a pacemaker since 1986, in 1991, he survived a helicopter crash that left him with a debilitating back injury, had a stroke in 1996 and had both knees replaced in 2015.

Despite their old age and the fact that they’re both in wheelchairs, Kirk and his wife, Anne, are always out and about and enjoying life and are still in love after 65 years of marriage. Talk about some impressive genes from the Douglas family!
