Andy Garcia Looks Homeless With Bushy Beard

Pop quiz: Who is this? If you guessed director Francis Ford Coppola, you’d be wrong — but don’t feel bad, because the resemblance is uncanny! And no, it’s not Old Man Winter, either. It’s actually actor Andy Garcia! Maybe Andy is practicing his impersonation of his “The Godfather Part III” director for a tribute show? (Okay, maybe not…)

The full beard, beret and glasses is not the look Andy is known for, but it is getting a bit chilly where he is in Studio City, Calif., so perhaps the beard is just for warmth, not style. Then again, Andy, 59, did announce his intention to direct and star in a feature called “Hemingway & Fuentes,” in which the legendary writer Ernest Hemingway befriends boat captain, Gregorio Fuentes, who inspires him to pen "The Old Man and the Sea." Andy will be playing Fuentes, so maybe that’s a fisherman’s beard.

Andy’s fans can look forward to his appearance in one of this summer’s expected blockbusters, the rebooted “Ghostbusters,” starring Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig! Andy plays the mayor of New York when a bunch of supernatural stuff goes down. Hey, Mr. Mayor — Who ya gonna call?
