Premiere Of “FX’s “American Crime Story – The People V. O.J. Simpson” – Arrivals
"American Crime Story: The People V. O.J. Simpson" debuts on the FX network on Tuesday, February 2 — and it's the kind of television event that brought out (nearly) all of the show's stars! That included John Travolta, who stars as defense attorney Robert Shapiro, who made National ENQUIRER headlines as part of the legal team that got disgraced football star O.J. off the hook for the 1994 murder of ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson, along with Hollywood waiter Ron Goldman. Despite the couple's own recent scandals, John even brought along wife Kelly Preston for the big night!

Oscar-winner Cuba Gooding Jr. stars as O.J. in the television miniseries, and posed with fellow actor Courtney Vance — who's cast as Johnnie Cochran, another legal eagle who became part of O.J.'s legendary Dream Team. They couldn't protect their client for all of his life, though. O.J.'s now serving time in a Nevada prison on charges of kidnapping and armed robbery!

"Nashville" star Connie Britton also does some small-screen moonlighting as Faye Resnick — the good pal of O.J.'s doomed ex-wife who later took flack for trying to cash in on the trial. Faye's past drug use made her a questionable witness as she testified how Nicole feared O.J.'s violent temper. The defense even suggested that Nicole was murdered by drug dealers that were associated with Faye. The television personality would later pose nude for "Playboy."

Robert Morse also appeared — and, despite playing sophisticated journalist Dominick Dunne on the show, decided to keep things casual! Some would say the Broadway legend has earned the right at the age of 84, though. Morse could use the "American Crime Story" exposure, too. The 2015 death of his beloved character on the cable series "Mad Men" was so dramatic that a few people still think that Robert's really dead!
