MATT DAMON: BEST ACTOR FOR “THE MARTIAN” — Matt Damon and wife Luciana are on the verge of a marital smack- down on the eve of their 10th anniversary — and it’s Ben Affleck’s fault! the actor, 45, and former bartender Luciana, 39, are butting heads over best friend Ben’s treatment of Jennifer Garner, insiders have reported. “Luciana was never the jealous type,” revealed a source. “But after Ben’s abominable behavior and allegations of infidelity, she’s afraid the same thing could happen to her.” Making matters worse, Matt has stuck by Ben — while Luciana’s firmly on team Jennifer! Matt and Luciana enjoy one of Hollywood’s most solid marriages, but the Ben-Jen battle has left them divided, pals said. And while Matt refuses to abandon Ben, he’s desperate for Luciana to stop worrying. “He reassured her that he loves her,” the source shared, “and said he wants them to grow old together.”

SYLVESTER STALLONE: BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR FOR “CREED” — Sly’s comeback is complete with his return to the Oscars with a nomination for playing Rocky Balboa (again) in “Creed.” The ENQUIRER had the scoop on his big romantic comeback in 1995, though. The tough guy had to get down on bended knee to get girlfriend Jennifer Flavin back after he had dumped her in 1993. Sylvester had a good time running around with supermodels, and was even briefly engaged to Angie Everhart. As reported by The ENQUIRER, Jennifer's heart melted when Sly broke down and called Jennifer to say: "Honey, I'm down on bended knee at the other end of this phone begging you: Take me back!" Jennifer responded: "Okay, I'll go out with you again. But let's take it slow and we'll see how it goes." And the minute they reunited it went great, said a close friend to the veteran film star. "Sly said, 'We literally fell into each other's arms. I'd forgotten how much I love that girl!” The pair would get married in 1997, and have stayed together while raising three beautiful daughters!

CHRISTIAN BALE: BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR FOR “THE BIG SHORT” — Beware, Christian Bale fans! The ENQUIRER has the scoop on the star’s history of tormenting his admirers — and often it’s his beleaguered assistants who bear the psychic wounds. “I’ve seen him lecture young girls about being rude and intrusive until tears streamed down their faces,” one former staffer reports. Even worse, the star once sent the assistant a fax insisting on the “elimination” of a fan. “Better to be safe than sorry,” the worker claims the note read. “A screwdriver thrust thru the eyeball into the brain prevents any screaming. Let me know how it goes.” Christian’s baleful behavior actually drove the employee to seek professional help. “My therapist would describe my condition as post-traumatic stress disorder,” he says. American Psycho indeed!

JENNIFER LAWRENCE: BEST ACTRESS FOR “JOY” — Mike Walker heard some interesting whispers about how much Jennifer enjoyed making “Joy” — along with four other films with costar Bradley Cooper. She told pals that she can still get a rise out of him — every single time. Revealed a pal: “Jen was actually bragging that whenever she does hot love scenes with Bradley, or they even get super up-close on-camera, he ALWAYS rises to the occasion! Rolling her eyes, Jen says he CANNOT help himself! And while Coop used to make a point of apologizing for his embarrassing uprisings, both of the stars now simply accept that it’s gonna happen — no matter what! Jen’s actually super flattered, and chuckles how you just can’t keep a good man down!”
