Aaron Hernandez hung
himself in his cell at the Souza Baranowski Correctional Center in Shirley, Mass. — now see the hellish conditions he endured just miles from the stadium where he found fame with the New England Patriots!
Hernandez had squandered his future by living like a cheap hood — and ultimately ended up serving a life sentence
for the murder of Odin Lloyd! The disgraced NFL star was arrested for Odin's death shortly after signing a contract extension worth $40 million.
These photographs capture the aftermath of a riot in Jan. 2017 — just four months before Hernandez took his own life. Prisoners trashed computers and made weapons by ripping the legs off of tables.
The violence broke out after a fight between two gang members turned into a brawl involving 46 prisoners. A special operations unit responded to the mayhem, blasting the rising mob with pepper spray.
Remarkably, no one was serious injured in the carnage — although fellow prisoners say they never suspected that Hernandez had been struggling with the urge to take his own life.
The convicted murderer would make his own fatal escape soon enough, with Odin's shocked mother learning that Hernandez's sudden end would also
have him found innocent for her son's death!
