After headlining in her “Sarah & Friends” comedy show at LA’s Largo club, SARAH SILVERMAN proved what a true friend she really is when comedian TODD GLASS, who closed the show, suddenly collapsed onstage as the lights went down and the audience filed out.
Rushing to his side, Sarah kept asking: “Todd, what’s wrong?” The stricken comic kept saying he felt weird and just needed to “lie down awhile” – but after nearly 30 minutes, Sarah declared: “We’re getting you to a hospital!”
The star and comic JEFFREY ROSS rushed their pal to the ER, where docs determined he’d suffered a heart attack and needed surgery to insert two lifesaving stents.
Turns out Glass was uninsured, but bighearted Sarah’s picking up the tab.
