Michael Caine went to visit good pal Tom Hanks. The two strolled surfside as Tom — who regularly feeds the seagulls — tossed bread bits into the air until one hungry birdbrain misjudged in mid-flight and . . . WHAMMO! The gull crashed into Caine’s head, knocking him flat! After a long moment, the British star slowly opened his eyes and asked worried Tom, “Blimey . . . what the hell was THAT!” (Bird and actor are doing fine.)
