Here’s the latest eye-opening twist in the bitter-but-amicable breakup of the JENNIFER LOPEZ-MARC ANTHONY marriage: Marc’s moving out of their 17,000-square-foot mansion in that swanky San Fernando Valley gated community – but he’ll settle into clone digs a mere two doors down the street!
Say WHAAAT?
“Even though the divorce caught everyone by surprise, Jennifer and Marc had been huddling secretly behind closed doors before the announcement was made, working out a way for Marc to stay close to their 3-year-old twins, Emme and Max,” revealed an insider.
“Marc has now lease-optioned another fancy mansion just two doors away from his soon-to-be ex!”
Here’s the deal: Marc ponied up a whopping $300,000 non-refundable down payment on the chic, modern-style home, and will fork over $25,000 a month for one year.
At that point, he’ll have the option to purchase the home for an agreed-upon $5.9 million.
“Marc just couldn’t bear the thought of being far away, and wants his kids to be within walking distance so that he can share in the daily duties and joys of being a dad,” said the source.
“Right now, he’ll continue living in the house he shared with Jennifer until his new place gets decorated. He expects to move within the next few weeks and continue daddy duties as usual.”
