After lunching with a business associate at eatery Talesai, four-time Oscar nominee ANNETTE BENING was asked by the manager if he could show her something at their sister restaurant next door, Night + Market.
Said a source: “Annette happily followed the guy but was puzzled when he showed her a poster on the wall for the 1970 movie, ‘The Only Game in Town’ starring her hubby, WARREN BEATTY. Then he pulled out a black Sharpie and asked, ‘Would you mind signing it?’ Totally confused, Annette said, ‘Why should I sign this poster…I wasn’t even in the movie.’ ”
The guy’s bizarre reply: “But Mr. Beatty’s never been here in person!”
Shaking her head as she headed for the exit, Annette said: “Well, I’m sorry, you’ll just have to wait for him to come in…it makes no sense for me to sign it!”
