Megyn Kelly Criticizes Michelle and Barack Obama’s Marriage: “They Married the Wrong People”

Conservative radio host Megyn Kelly claims that Michelle and Barack Obama married the wrong people.

She especially blasted the former first lady, 61, for complaining about the former president, 63.

“Every word she says about Barack Obama is negative,” the ex-Fox News host groused on her SiriusXM radio show. “I can’t think of her just waxing poetic about him, complimenting, ‘He’s brilliant. He’s a great dad. He was the greatest president,’ whatever a normal wife of Barack Obama would say. Every time she opines, it’s something that reflects poorly on him.”

Kelly also slammed remarks the Becoming author made in a radio interview three years ago about the challenges of raising young children. “There were 10 years where I couldn’t stand my husband. And guess when it happened? When those kids were little,” Michelle said.

The mom of two then explained, “Marriage isn’t 50/50 — ever, ever. There are times I’m 70, he’s 30. There are times he’s 60, [I’m] 40.

“But guess what? Ten years — we’ve been married 30 — I would take 10 bad years over 30.”

Kelly, who married her second husband, Douglas Brunt, in 2008, countered, “I’ve been married for 17 and a half years, and not one was bad.”

Kelly might be prescient — the former first couple’s marriage is rumored to be on the rocks, especially after Michelle was a no-show at former President Jimmy Carter’s funeral and President Donald Trump’s inauguration.
