Jennifer Lopez Spotted Getting Close With ‘Office Romance’ Costar Brett Goldstein

Jennifer Lopez is reportedly hooking up with Brett Goldstein, her leading man in her new flick Office Romance, but insiders say the 11-years-younger boytoy is just a diversion — and the screen siren is set to chew him up and spit him out by the time their film is released.

Newly single following the crash of her marriage to Ben Affleck, the 55-year-old beauty was seen loving it up with the dashing 44-year-old Brit at the wrap party for their upcoming film in the Dominican Republic — getting cuddly before dropping out of sight in a private cabana.

But an insider says that the Ted Lasso alum is merely “serving a purpose right now by feeding her ego and doting on her. He’s showering her with compliments and he’s very good company.”

“They’ve been hanging out and snuggling and kissing, having fun on the side, but there’s no way this romance is moving forward.”

The singer-actress “is saying it’s just a bit of fun and nothing serious,” adds the source. “The feeling is if Brett’s hoping for more, he’s setting himself up for disappointment. Her friends don’t think he’s the kind of guy she’d stick with for long.

“They know her. She doesn’t want someone that low on the star totem pole. Besides, she’s still stuck on Ben, whether she admits it or not.”

As National ENQUIRER readers know, Jennifer’s fourth marriage, to Gigli costar Ben, 52, ended after less than two years of marriage and their divorce was finalized on Jan. 6.

“Ben quit the marriage, not Jennifer,” insists the source. “She’s consoling herself by letting loose with Brett. She does genuinely like him and is lapping up the attention. But if — and when — she wants something more long term, she’ll want an A-list romance.”

In fact, sources predict the romance won’t survive the release of their flick.

“Brett may fit the bill for now, but friends aren’t counting on him lasting beyond the movie’s premiere,” says the insider.
