Aging action hero Sylvester Stallone has reportedly announced plans to write, direct and act in an examination of the mysteries behind the murders of rap legends Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls.
The film, tentatively titled âÂÂRampart Scandalâ is planned for release in 2004. Stallone will play detective Russell Poole, the L.A. detective who uncovered the various twists, corruption and cover ups involved in the murders.
Both, Shakur and Smalls were gunned down in separate incidents in 1997. The killers in each murder have never been apprehended, despite plentiful well-substantiated leads. Rumors and conspiracies have risen around each death, most pointing towards the East/West rap feuds that raged during the mid 90âÂÂs.
