Rocker Pete Townshend has been released from police custody, after being arrested on suspicion of possession of child pornography.
Townshend was questioned at a Southwest London police station and released five hours later, shortly after midnight, according to reports.
“He is going home to get some rest,” said Townshend’s lawyer in a statement. “He is tired but all right.”
No charges have been brought against Townshend, but a police spokesman said that he signed an agreement saying that he would return to the station later this month.
