Talk show queen Oprah Winfrey is the latest to pitch in to fund the new National Underground Railroad Freedom Center being built along the Ohio River. Oprah has donated $1 million to the facility. She’s also the narrator of a short educational film for the center introducing the film and interactive theater program Brothers of the Borderland. The star studded dedication of the center on August 23 will include include Vanessa Williams, Angela Bassett, Muhammad Ali, Quincy Jones, Bono and Danny Glover.
