Mike Myers was honored with a star on the prestigious Hollywood Walk of Fame this week.
In a humorous twist, the ceremony took place in front of an adult gift shop — an establishment that Myers’ character Austin Powers might frequent.
“It’s a long way from playing street hockey in Toronto to having a star in front of the International Love Boutique,” joked Myers, while the crowd of 350 excited fans yelled “Yeah, baby!”
Also at the ceremony were Myers’ wife Robin, his mother and two brothers. “Austin Powers” cast members included Robert Wagner, Mindy Sterling and Seth Green.
“Austin Powers in Goldmember” opens nationwide today.
