Was Dawna really Martha Stewart‘s first choice as winner of The Apprentice? The New York Post reports that Bethenny was supposed to win but that judge Charles Koppelman‘s granddaughter spilled the beans just before Wednesday night’s live broadcast. When the child was asked who she thought was going to win, she replied, “Bethenny is going to win, Martha didn’t like Dawna’s fashion show.” A former contestant said, “As far as we knew, Bethenny was the winner. But when they returned to live broadcast, the mood had definitely shifted. That’s when all three judges voted for [Dawna.]” NBC had no comment.
