Judge Judy has found herself on the other side of the bench for a case that is literally in her own back yard. Judith Sheindlin and her husband, Gerald Sheindlin, a former “People’s Court” TV judge, complained when one of their neighbors built a playing field slated for use by an eighth-grade girls’ lacrosse team. Judge Judy says the construction was done without approval or permits and dumped mud in their the swimming pool which cost the Sheindlins $17,000 to remove.
