Michael Jackson is sending out 500 invitations for a party at his Neverland Ranch — at a cost of $5000 per pair.
According to Jackson’s publicist, Stuart Backerman, it’s a one-time-only event that will include dinner, magicians, games and a truckload of stuffed animals. Guests will also receive a “goodie bag” containing items estimated at about $1000 and an original piece of artwork by a Brazilian artist.
$1000 from each ticket sale will be divided among three charities: the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which helps terminally ill children, Oneness, a charity which aims to end racism through art and music and E Ai Como E Que Fica out of Rio de Janiero, which gives food, clothing and medical help to needy children.
The rest of the proceeds will stay with Jacko to cover party costs.
The event is scheduled for September 13.
