Gwyneth Paltrow was unable to fly to Venice on Monday after her plane encountered “technical problems” and was forced to turn back to New York. The star — who was scheduled to promote her new film, Proof — told reporters via cell phone, “I had an absolutely, extraordinarily unpleasant evening last night trying to get there. I had all kinds of plane problems.”
