Bob Denver — who played goofy first mate Gilligan on the TV show Gilligan’s Island — has passed away. He was 70. Bob died on Friday in North Carolina of complications from cancer treatment. The actor also played Maynard G. Krebs on The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis, from 1959 to 1963.
